My friend Kurt and I decided to head for a trip south to Springbrook National Park. On the way we stopped at Hinze Dam - then stopped at Little Nerang Dam on the way back.
This is one of the best trips I've done - and is only a little more than an hour away from home. I'd recommend this as a day trip for anyone near Brisbane or on the Gold Coast.

The highlight of our trip. After seeing the falls from the top, we wound our way down to the bottom of the falls where the path actually went behind the cascade of water. |
